Sustainability Promotion System
To strengthen our organizational responses to a variety of sustainability-related issues, we have established an ESG Promotion Office.
This is where important matters related to climate change, investment in human capital disclosure, employee engagement surveys, operation of ISO management systems, a comprehensive identification and assessment of business risks, compliance activities, and the status of internal audits are discussed by the ESG Promotion Committee, chaired by the President, and then submitted and reported to the Management Council and the Board of Directors.
Sustainability-related Basic Policies

Guided by the HIBIYA Vision, we strive to become an attractive enterprise that harmonizes with local communities and the global environment, while prioritizing employees, customers, and shareholders to contribute to sustainable societal development.

Based on the fundamental principle of “safety is nurtured by the person,” we aim to eliminate risk factors and create a safety culture in which all employees can participate.

1 Responding accurately and promptly to customer needs, we provide high-quality building equipment that will earn the satisfaction and trust of our customers.
2 We are making efforts to promote systematic safety and quality management, and to improve the efficiency of our work though continuous review of our quality systems.
Based on the above policies, each division establishes quality targets and verifies the results.
4.Environmental Policy
The Hibiya Engineering Group recognizes that it plays a vital role in “preserving the global environment” and being in “harmony and coexistence with local communities” in our business activities related to the design, construction, purchasing, and operation of air conditioning, plumbing and sanitation, electrical, and information and communications equipment. We are promoting activities to leave a livable global environment and a prosperous society to the next generation.
1 The Group will formulate, implement, and review environmental objectives and targets to the extent technically and economically feasible in order to achieve continual improvement and to protect the environment from pollution.
2 The Group will contribute to the achievement of a low-carbon society by providing optimal solutions to our customers’ demands for energy conservation and CO2 reduction, and through research and development of environmental technologies.
3 The Group will strictly adhere to the requirements of laws and regulations concerning environmental matters, as well as agreements to which the Company has agreed, and will prioritize the following items.
1. Promotion of reduction and proper processing of construction by-products
2. Promotion of proper processing of ozone-depleting substances
4 The Group is committed to improving the understanding and awareness of its environmental management system through environmental education and training, as well as communicating its environmental policies to all employees.
5 The Group discloses these environmental policies to the public for the purpose of gaining broad general understanding.
5.Human Rights Policy
Having been promoting efforts to respect human rights in various ways, including “HIBIYA Vision,” “Standards for Ethical Behavior,” and “To Our Business Partners: Ensuring Fair and Transparent Transactions,” the Group states here its policy as it stands at the current time.
We intend to revise the content of this document as appropriate, in line with the progress of human rights due diligence (scheduled to begin in October 2025).

6.Ethical Conduct Standards
