Due to the progressive climate changes associated with global warming, equipment to protect people’s lives and livelihoods is gaining even more in importance. At the same time, achieving decarbonization has also become an urgent necessity. We recognize that the societal expectations of our Group with regard to initiatives toward achieving carbon neutrality, including Net Zero Energy Building (ZEB)* renovations, are greater than ever before.
We believe that accurately ascertaining societal needs and providing them as valuable solutions is essential to the practice of sustainability management. Based on the comprehensive engineering capabilities we have cultivated in the more than 60 years since our founding, we will continue to hone the value we provide while flexibly responding to increasingly diverse and complex environments.
In the years to come, we will continue to take on the challenges ahead to build a foundation for growth that enhances environmental and social value together with all our stakeholders.
* ZEB renovations: An initiative designed to improve the energy-saving performance of buildings through renewal (renovation) work, aiming to achieve ZEB standards and enhance the value of existing buildings.
