Responding accurately and promptly to customer needs, we provide high-quality building equipment that will earn the satisfaction and trust of our customers.
We are making efforts to promote systematic safety and quality management, and to improve the efficiency of our work through continuous review of our quality systems.
Based on the above policies, each division establishes quality targets and verifies the results.
At Hibiya Engineering, where our core business is construction management of various types of equipment work, we provide safety, security, and comfort to customers based on the fundamental principles of “quality first” and “improvement of customer satisfaction.”
With the aim of achieving uniformity of quality, improving customer trust, and devising effective quality control, we obtained ISO 9001 certification at all locations and have been able to achieve a certain level of results. We will work to improve customer satisfaction by continuing to enhance our quality control system activities to provide high-quality products and services.
① Organizing a construction study group and construction management patrols
② Utilization of identified and improved items
③ Quality control rounds, interim and completion inspections
④ Customer satisfaction surveys
Quality control in construction projects is crucial, and ensuring quality throughout the production process extremely important. The only way to mitigate risks is to thoroughly manage the on-site construction process from start to finish and proactively eliminate risks step by step. To ensure construction quality, we implement interim inspections and quality checks (including quality patrols by senior personnel) based on quality control plans tailored to each site. At the same time, we are working to improve workers’ understanding of the work and fostering a greater awareness of quality assurance through corrective instructions and guidance.
-
Quality control based on quality plan* to achieve quality required in design drawings and documents
-
For items requiring verification, conduct tests or inspections based on quality plan
-
If any questions arise, such as when test or inspection results fall outside the control limits, appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the quality plan. The cause will be investigated, and necessary measures taken to prevent a recurrence
* The quality plan specifically outlines the target quality for the construction, quality control, and management system.
In order to improve on-site capabilities across the Company, we collect examples and proposals for technical and operational improvements from on-site employees and cooperating companies from each workplace (on-site operations), evaluate them through an internal evaluation team, and share and disseminate this information horizontally via our in-house portal site. Excellent proposals are recognized by Main Office and branch managers, and outstanding improvement examples and proposals are recognized by the president. This evaluation, along with incentives, helps to increase the motivation of proposers.

We are focusing on helping employees acquire official qualifications that are particularly necessary for our business activities, with the aim of improving the technical skills of our employees and ensuring quality. We have created a list that shows at a glance the type of qualification, application submission period, exam date, exam institution, and eligibility to take the exam, and this is useful for employees’ plans to obtain qualifications. Also, in the case of first-class construction management engineer qualification acquisition, we have been following up with employees in their 20s and 30s since fiscal 2012, with the aim of their obtaining the qualification at an early stage.

The Group established its own human resource certification program, the Energy Conservation Master Program, 13 years ago, and has been continuously working to improve our technical skills in the environmental field and develop highly skilled human resources. This program certifies employees based on three evaluation criteria: advanced specialized energy-saving skills, the ability to make high-quality proposals to customers, and the ability to realize them in practice. In fiscal 2024, 35 new employees obtained the qualification, bringing the total number of qualified employees since the program’s inception to 419.
Through the operation of this program, each employee is improving their ability to present valuable, specific improvement measures to customers based on the results of their energy-saving diagnoses. In this way our customer satisfaction will be further improved, and our competitive advantage in the market will be strengthened. Also, by standardizing energy-saving diagnostic techniques and evaluation criteria within the program, we have established a system that allows us to consistently provide high-quality diagnostic services that are consistent across the entire company. In addition, by providing a clear goal of obtaining this qualification, we have created an environment in which employees can gain a sense of accomplishment, contributing to their motivation for self-development and clarifying their career development.
As a “green engineering company,” the Group is stepping up its efforts in research, development, and implementation of decarbonization and low-carbon technologies, and is actively proposing technologies for the use of renewable energy and the realization of Net Zero Energy Buildings (ZEBs). In addition, we are deepening our initiatives regarding SDGs and ESG, and creating an educational environment where all employees can continuously acquire the latest technical knowledge through our in-house portal and e-learning, and apply it to their work.
Through these initiatives, we aim to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society and achieve a high level of business growth and social contribution at the same time.
